Rule 10
Provisions relating to auction sales

(1) If the goods or property seized in accordance with section 17 of the Act are kept in possession for a long time, if it appears that they may rust or break or become damaged due to any other factor, or if they become rotten, or if they become old and depreciate in value, or if they are neglected, or if they cannot be kept due to lack of space. Or if it is not possible to provide protection, after considering the condition and nature of such item or property, the notice of auction sale shall be posted on the notice board of the office and sold by auction.
(2) During the auction sale according to sub-rule (1), one representative of the local authority of the place where the item to be auctioned is located or one employee of the nearest government office and, if possible, the relevant person or his representative shall also be kept in Rohwar.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), when auctioning goods or assets to be auctioned, the minimum price shall be maintained based on the prevailing market value of such goods or assets, and the auction shall be done on an incremental basis.
